Tips for setting up files for risograph:
- Acceptable file type: Adobe Illustrator vector file (.AI) or PDF at 300dpi
- Maximum printable dimensions: 10x16" with bleed, 11x17" without
- Send separate grayscale PDF files for each ink colour (Remember - 100% black is the full ink colour of whatever you're printing and anything in shades of grey will be a percentage opacity of the full ink colour)
- Name each AI layer or PDF file clearly with each ink colour to be printed: i.e. Layer 1: Green, Layer 2: Orange
- Maximum number of inks: 4
- Convert all type to outlines
- Keep type size at 6.5 pt or larger
- Embed any linked files
- Don't forget to supply a reference PDF of the final artwork so we know what it's meant to look like!
Tips for setting up files for letterpess:
- Acceptable file type: Adobe Illustrator vector file (.AI) or PDF at 300dpi
- Maximum printable dimensions: 9x12"
Name each AI layer or PDF file clearly with each ink colour to be printed: i.e. Layer 1: Green, Layer 2: Orange - Maximum number of inks: 2. If wanting to use 3 or more inks, please note additional project fees apply
- Artwork should be 100% black. Assign separate layers for each ink colour in Illustrator
- Keep type size at 6.5 pt or larger and at least .35 pt thickness for all elements
- Embed any linked files and fonts
- Don't forget to supply a reference PDF of the final artwork so we know what it's meant to look like!
